You will remember that Frank’s book was the basis for the movie; “Catch me if you can”… Do you suppose these three politicians were contributors to the movie????

Author to speak at chamber dinner

      TRAVERSE CITY - The 90th annual dinner of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce is set for Friday at 7 p.m. at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
      Author Frank W. Abagnale, whose work in forgery and embezzlement was featured in the movie "Catch Me if You Can," is the featured speaker. Guests include Gov. Jennifer Granholm and U.S. Sens. Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow.
      The event also features presentation of the chamber's annual "Distinguished Service Award." It will be presented by last year's winners, Carl and Sally Benner.
