The Lansing State Journal, steeped in the tradition of whiny selfish brats dedicated to changing the world as only they think it should be, says;

“Nonetheless, it seems silly for him[DeVos] to go on TV to blast incumbent Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm for failing to improve Michigan's economy, then afterward not offer much on what he'd do differently. For our money, it's never too early for a candidate to begin explaining why he is the better choice. DeVos has been a serious gubernatorial candidate since at least mid-2005. It's time for him to start defining what he'd do as governor.”

The editorial gave it all away with; “For our money”… A lot of truth is said in jest, and the truth is, the press doesn’t give a hoot about anything but their own selfish interests. They even answered their own question when they speculated;

“It's true that most Michigan voters aren't focused on the November gubernatorial election.”

Geez, if they have nothing to do right now seems like they could at least be wasting some time digging up dirt on DeVos instead of all the crying… Or maybe, just maybe, they could be utilizing their time to really dig into the facts behind Michigan’s sorry situation. That's what I would do. Then I would be already with some intelligent questions when DeVos does make his plans public. But of course I don't know what their agenda might be, do I?    Oh hummm….

A Lansing State Journal editorial

Tell us more, Mr. DeVos

It's true that most Michigan voters aren't focused on the November gubernatorial election. So, Republican candidate Dick DeVos probably figures he'll just bide his time until November draws near.

Nonetheless, it seems silly for him to go on TV to blast incumbent Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm for failing to improve Michigan's economy, then afterward not offer much on what he'd do differently.

After a Thursday taping of public television's "Off the Record," DeVos told reporters it's too early to go into specifics of his plans to energize the state's economy. He said his campaign will unveil the plans "when people are paying attention ..."

For our money, it's never too early for a candidate to begin explaining why he is the better choice. DeVos has been a serious gubernatorial candidate since at least mid-2005.

It's time for him to start defining what he'd do as governor.
